Our Story

Hello there! Thank you for being here. I’m Mariah, founder of Fable Home Market. I live in Virginia alongside my husband and our two boys. The idea for this shop has been years in the making; even as a little girl, I had a passion for making my surroundings beautiful and peaceful. Coming from a nomadic upbringing, home was ever-changing, but one thing it taught me is that home isn’t a place, but a feeling created by the people and objects within. Vintage pieces have a story that instantly adds character and soul to a home, new or old. At the beginning of 2021, I started selling vintage home decor sourced from thrift stores, antique shops, and estate sales. It truly is a joy to share some of these treasures with you and be part of your home.
